Personal

Anniversary trips!

When Jordan and I got married, we had a thirst for adventure and travel.  Our hearts said, “Drop everything and go!” But our bank account said, “HA, NOPE!”  That’s when I decided to map out our anniversary trips.  I have a list of years matched with a state, then we just pick a city in that state to go to.
We spent our honeymoon in the Outerbanks at Kill Devil Hills in North Carolina.  Jordan and I absolutely LOVED it there!  It was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been.  We live in Southern Ohio, so I love going to the beach because I don’t get to go very often.  I decided it would be financially smart to start off going to places nearby.
For our first anniversary, we stayed very close.  We traveled down to Florence, Kentucky.  We only stayed for one night, but we packed two days FULL of adventure.  We make the most out of time away with each other.  I love that about Jordan.  He loves to be on the move, always doing something.  It makes for exciting days. 🙂
We just celebrated our two year anniversary in July.  We went to Indianapolis, Indiana.  We stayed in downtown Indianapolis and it was such a neat experience.  We enjoyed our time there.  This year we got to stay a little longer, we were there for four days and three nights.  Maybe I’ll do a blog post about it another time. 🙂
