A couple different reasons encouraged us to face the rain and Will’s shoulder injury and go through with it, including both of their work schedules and the fact that Kristina had her hair done for this! That’s something I always recommend, by the way! She had her normal hair appointment and then had her hair styled so beautifully, as you’ll see below.
We started our session by exploring RiverScape MetroPark in downtown Dayton then traveled to Cox Arboretum to finish up. The rain caused us to be a little more creative than usual and I love the way it pushed me to serve them!
Kristina and her family have known my husband’s family for years. Kristina and my husband, Jordan, grew up together! Meeting Kristina’s mom was so fun and I enjoyed having her at our session. She was mostly there to help with their dog, Flame, while he wasn’t in the photos, but she also helped with umbrellas. So kind!!
Will and Kristina’s wedding day is coming up in September and I can’t wait to serve them! Here’s to hoping for beautiful September day! For now, enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement session.
